Mobile Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security measures for mobile devices, applications, and operating systems.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits on mobile platforms.

• Monitor mobile environments for threats, malware, and unauthorized access.

• Collaborate with developers to integrate security best practices into mobile app development.

• Respond to mobile-related security incidents and support remediation efforts.

• Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and industry security standards.

• Educate employees and users on secure mobile usage practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (Android, iOS) and mobile security mechanisms.

• Experience with mobile security testing tools and frameworks.

• Knowledge of encryption, secure coding practices, and mobile threat vectors.

• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with reverse engineering and mobile malware analysis.

• Understanding of network security as it applies to mobile devices.

• Certifications in mobile security (e.g., GMOB, CEH) are a plus.
