Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPL).
Conduct regular audits and assessments of data processing activities to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
Advise staff and stakeholders on data protection requirements and best practices.
Monitor and respond to personal data breaches, including incident reporting and remediation.
Maintain records of data processing activities and ensure appropriate legal documentation.
Provide training and awareness programs on personal data protection for employees.
Liaise with regulatory authorities when necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and privacy regulations.
Experience in compliance, risk management, or information security.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in privacy or data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT).
Experience with data mapping and privacy impact assessments.
Familiarity with encryption, anonymization, and other data security techniques.
